The RailTech Control System is a purpose-built control platform developed by Harrybilt Engineering for rail-configured excavators. Engineered for seamless integration with OEM base machines and existing Harrybilt rail systems, the platform is fully embedded rather than externally added, providing operators with a unified, user-friendly interface and live system feedback via a larger in-cab display.
The RailTech Control System manages front and rear rail gear deployment through automated sequencing, safety interlocks, and operator guidance, streamlining setup while preventing deployment in unsafe conditions. The system also integrates Height, Slew and Load control, RCI/RCL functionality, attachment recognition, and advanced diagnostics, allowing safe zones, movement limits, and load thresholds to be defined, monitored, and locked out where required.
Designed and manufactured to meet Australian network and industry standards, the RailTech Control System delivers improved safety, reduced operator workload, and greater operational efficiency in demanding rail environments.
