Hi Brid System
Harrybilt Engineering have developed a customized Rail System called Hi Brid. The Hi Brid System allows a wheeled excavator to run on both standard and narrow gauges.
Hi Brid System - Wheeled Excavator
The Hi Brid System is a unique system that means the machine is set up the same as the Rail Guidance System; with the excavator’s tyres providing acceleration and braking on rail when running on standard gauge. On narrow gauge, the machine tyres contact a drum that drive the rail wheels. This is also known as friction drive set-up.
H21 HI BRID HITACHI ZX170W
The H21 Hi Brid Rail Machine uses the Hitachi ZX170W as the Base Machine. This is a full Turn Key Rail Package, the team manages the purchase and installation of a Tiltrotator as well as managing Network Submissions and offer all types of Rail Maintenance Attachments.
H18 HI BRID HITACHI ZX140W
The H18 Hi Brid Rail Machine uses the Hitachi ZX140W as the Base Machine. This is a full Turn Key Rail Package, the team manages the purchase and installation of a Tiltrotator as well as managing Network Submissions and offer all types of Rail Maintenance Attachments.
