Harrybilt Engineering can fit a rail guidance system to various models of backhoe.


Conformance


  • Rail wheels adjustable to Standard and Broad Gauges.
  • The gauge will be set to the customer’s request prior to leaving the Harrybilt plant.
  • All wheels meet the P/D ratio.
  • All wheels are insulated with removable circuit bridge incorporated.
  • Braking accomplished by original rubber wheel rear axle and hold at minimum grade of 1.30.
  • Machine conforms to relevant sections of AS7500 series of standards.


Operation


  • Original operation of backhoe maintained.
  • Bucket uncrowded and fully lowered elevates front wheels for rail travel.


Construction


  • Rubber buffers attached to centralise elevated axle.
  • Wheels machined in Australia from Australian standard 4140 billets.
  • All materials conforming to Australian standards.
  • All hydraulic work is carried out to Australian standard AS2788 Hydraulic Fluid Power – General.
  • All hoses conform to Australian standards AS 3791.
