An opportunity has become available for a suitably experienced Trades Assistanceto join our team. The role is to support our tradesmen in all departments. The position is varied and includes and not limited to cutting and preparing steel using bandsaws, grinders, drill and various other tools. Working in the stores to sort and pack parts.
Applicants must demonstrate they have experience in a workshop. Preferably in a metal industry working alongside other welders and fitters. Welding experience is advantageous.
Applicants must have a current driver’s license and preferably a Forklift and MR truck license.

Welders/Fabricators require trade qualifications with experience in heavy fabrication. Apprentices in their 3rd or 4th year are also encouraged to apply.
The Mechanics/Hydraulic Fitter/Fitter and Turner positions are multi-tasking across hydraulics and vehicle modifications.

3RD OR 4TH YEAR APPRENTICES REQUIRED – WELDER/FABRICATOR, FITTER AND TURNER & MECHANIC
We are seeking motivated applicants that have a great eye for detail, strong commitment to safety, a passion for the engineering and fabrication industry and has the drive to complete a trade apprenticeship.
This role is varied with opportunity to continue to develop your skills.

This is a full-time apprenticeship offering a Certificate III Trade Qualification. Training fees, PPE and other costs are all covered by Harrybilt Engineering.
