Rail Threader
Developed by Harrybilt Engineering this piece of equipment has been specifically designed to provide an efficient method of handling rail. First designed in 2007 to meet a niche market, it has proved itself as a reliable performer and has contributed to the laying and maintenance of many hundreds of kilometres of rail track.
The grab will grip under the head of the rail for lift. The hardened point allows threader to slide under rail, even through ballast and the vertical and horizontal rollers provide low resistance support so the threader can slide along the rail providing lift of the rail on or off the sleeper. This reduces manual handling and the O H & S issues related to moving heavy rail. It is recommended that the Rail Threader be used with a Rotating head fitted to the excavator. Heavy Duty Rail Threader
This Rail Maintenance Attachment has been designed to withstand the harshest working conditions. While the original Rail Threader is reliable and efficient, there was demand for the attachment to last longer and have a higher lifting capacity for larger excavators. This new development has made this the perfect Rail Maintenance Attachment for laying and maintaining many hundreds of kilometres of rail track, while also being a longer lasting product in the tough Australian conditions.
Any original Rail Threader can be upgraded to be Heavy Duty. |
