Rail Guidance System

The Rail Guidance System adapts wheeled excavators and similar vehicles for railway applications allowing travel on road and rail.
Retractable rail wheel assemblies installed on an excavator position the vehicle above the rail while the tyres continue to provide traction and braking.
Hydraulically operated support structures are fitted to the stabilizer end of the blade on excavators to mount the fully insulated wheel and hub assemblies, with raise and lower functions fully controllable from the cabin.

A Rail Guidance System can be fitted to a number of vehicles and trucks allowing free movement along rail lines and can be set for broad, standard or narrow gauge rail.
